I came across this idea at Home Depot and absolutely love it. You simply buy a few linear feet of pre-primed finger joint picture molding and nail it to the wall where you want to hang your high heels.
Use finish nails to nail it every 18 inches or so and then countersink the nails.
Countersinking is when you hide the tiny nailhead by using another nail to give it an extra “push” into the wood. Then add a little bit of putty or spackle and touch it up with paint. If you don’t want to go through all that hassle, you can hide the nail heads with white toothpaste 😉
I think this is a Great idea!!

Does it only work with high heels, ’cause if so, it’s not for me.
