      (This is a Lipton Recipe)

      1 envelope Lipton Savory Herb & Garlic Soup Mix
      1/2 cup water
      1 large tomato, chopped
      1 cup canned red kidney or canellini beans, drained
      1 cup black or pinto beans, drained
      1 cup garbanzo beans or chickpeas, drained
      2 tsp white or white wine vinegar (optional)

      In skillet, blend soup mix with water. Bring to a boil over high heat; stir in tomato. Reduce heat to low & simmer 3 minutes. Stir in beans & simmer 3 minutes or until heated through. Stir in vinegar. Garnish, if desired, with chopped fresh parsely or cilantro.

      Makes 4 cups.
