One of my favorite breakfasts is leftover pizza! Yes, I am an old lady and I love leftover pizza for breakfast. Even better, is fresh pizza for breakfast! Hope you like this one…
      Thin Crust Ham Pizza
      Crust:
      2 cups flour
      1 tbs yeast
      ¼ tsp salt
      1 tbs sugar
⅔ cup lukewarm water, plus an additional 2 tbs
      Pizza:
      olive oil, for drizzling
      2¼ cups shredded mozzarella
3 oz thinly sliced honey-baked ham, or whatever you have on hand (cooked bacon works in a pinch!)
      ½ cup sliced black olives
      1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 cup chopped red bell pepper
      ¼ cup basil leaves
      3 tbs heavy cream
      salt & pepper, to taste
Mix 1 cup of flour with all other ingredients, and then carefully add 2nd cup of flour until it forms a ball. Use your hands to knead.
Let it rest 10 minutes and cover with plastic wrap to keep it warm.
Spread out onto greased pizza pan and start adding your toppings, drizzle a little olive oil onto the dough and sprinkle on half of the mozzarella. Add on the cream, mozzarella, ham, olives, mushrooms, red bell pepper and basil leave. Sprinkle parmesan over top. Drizzle with remaining oil. Bake at 375 F for about 20 minutes. Let cool, slice and enjoy! Serves 4-5
