I wanted to share this perfect houseplant with you. It’s always green, it’s always attractive, it’s not sharp, won’t hurt the kids, won’t hurt the pets, won’t die while you’re on vacation and it won’t wilt if it doesn’t get enough sunshine or watering.

what you’ll need is a few flat river rocks, some green paint in different shades and a white paint marker.

wash the rocks and let them dry in the sunshine. paint a nice basecoat on them in green.

then, using the white marker pen, draw little + then add and x to give it the little ‘pointies’. repeat on all of the rocks, creating whatever patterns you desire.

situate them in the pot using small pea gravel to hold them in place.

this would be good vbs or even for an activity at a seniors center. thank you for sharing am knee deep in vacation bible school this week. it seemed to be easier when i was younger.

now as a grandmother doing crafts with four year old it was like a room full of spider monkeys. but this would seriously be good even for those at rehab centers for those with strokes that need a small activity that does not take a month to finish.

These are just too cute, this is a great idea for those nasty cold winter mornings! It LOOKS like spring, but still feels like winter outside at the moment.
