nestlÉ chocolatier™ grand chocolate brownie wedges with chocolate
sauce
estimated times:
preparation – 10 min | Cooking – 33 min | Cooling Time – 1 hrs
cooling | Yields – 12 servings
Ingredients:
1 2/3 cups (10-oz. pkg.) nestlÉ chocolatier™ 62% Cacao Bittersweet
Chocolate Morsels, divided
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter, cut into pieces
2 tablespoons water
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
Whipped cream (optional)
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 325º F. Line 8-inch-square baking pan with foil;
grease. Set aside 3 tablespoons morsels for chocolate sauce.
HEAT 1 cup morsels, sugar, butter and water in small, heavy-duty
saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until morsels and butter
are melted. Pour into medium bowl. Stir in eggs, one at a time, until
mixed in. Stir in vanilla extract. Add flour and salt; stir well.
Stir in remaining morsels (except sauce morsels) and nuts, if
desired. Pour into prepared baking pan.
BAKE for 33 to 35 minutes until wooden pick inserted in center comes
out slightly sticky. Cool in pan on wire rack. Lift brownie from pan
with foil to cutting board. Carefully remove foil. Cut brownie square
into half. Cut each half into thirds, for a total of 6 pieces. Cut
each piece in half diagonally to form triangles for a total of 12.
place cream in small, uncovered, microwave-safe dish. microwave on
high (100%) power for 25 to 30 seconds. Add reserved 3 tablespoons of
morsels; stir until smooth. (Sauce will thicken as it cools.) Place
wedge on serving plate; top or drizzle with a teaspoon of sauce. Top
with whipped cream, if desired.

Pumpkin Mousse In Cinnamon Pastry ShellsA light and airy mousse that combines pumpkin and vanilla pudding is
served in delicate pastry shells that have been dusted with a light
cinammon sugar coating. An elegant way to end a meal.
Estimated Times:
Preparation – 10 min | Cooking – 20 min | Yields – 12 servings
Ingredients:
2 boxes (10 oz. each) frozen puff pastry shells
3 tablespoons melted butter
Cinnamon sugar *
1 can (30 oz.) Easy Pumpkin Pie Mix
1 box (3.4 oz.) vanilla instant pudding and pie filling mix
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 400° F.
place pastry shells on baking sheet. brush tops with butter and
sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. bake according to package directions.
cool to room temperature. remove tops and reserve for garnish. remove
soft pastry inside shells and discard.
beat pumpkin pie mix, pudding mix and cinnamon in large mixer bowl on
medium speed for 2 minutes. Gently fold in whipped topping. Spoon
about 1/3 cup pumpkin mousse into each pastry shell. Top with pastry
tops. Serve immediately.
* For cinnamon sugar: Combine 1 tablespoon granulated sugar and 1/2
teaspoon ground cinnamon in small bowl.

Easy Double Chocolate Chip BrowniesA chocolate lover’s dream brownie with a hint of vanilla and a dash
of chopped nuts for texture.
Estimated Times:
Preparation – 10 min | Yields – 24 brownies (2 dozen)
Ingredients:
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) nestlÉ toll house semi-sweet chocolate morsels,
divided
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, cut into pieces
3 large eggs
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 350° F. Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
MELT 1 cup morsels and butter in large, heavy-duty saucepan over low
heat; stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs.
Stir in
flour, sugar, vanilla extract and baking soda. Stir in remaining
morsels and nuts. Spread into prepared baking pan.
BAKE for 18 to 22 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center
comes out slightly sticky. Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

Cookie DippersEstimated Times:
Preparation – 5 min | Cooking – 15 min | Yields – 24 cookies
Ingredients:
1 pkg. (16.5 oz.) nestlÉ toll house refrigerated chocolate chip
cookie bar dough
1 cup (6 oz.) * nestlÉ toll house semi-sweet chocolate morsels
assorted sprinkles and chopped nuts (optional)
directions:
bake cookies according to package directions. cool completely;
arrange on serving platter.
melt morsels according to package directions. pour melted morsels
into serving bowls. dip cookies into melted morsels, sprinkles and
nuts, if desired.
note: to prepare ahead of time, cooled cookies can be dipped and
placed on waxed paper-lined platters and refrigerated for at least 15
minutes.
* May also use nestlÉ toll house premier white and/or milk chocolate
morsels.
