Sometimes we do this in our family too. Whoever is hosting makes the
meat then the (already prepared) veggies, salads, pickle plate,
veggies and dip, rolls, desserts are brought by guests. Mashed
potatoes, turnip, and squash can be put into crokpots to keep warm.
Cooked veggies like carrots can be quickly re-heated in the microwave
right before supper.
Whoever is hosting also supplies drinks like pop
and coffee. If people want alcohol they bring it themselves.
