8 pieces bone in chicken (any type) 1/2 cup lite soy sauce 2 Tbsp brown sugar) 1 1/2 tsp ginger-minced/grated 4 garlic cloves-minced 2 green onions-sliced (I used the white and tender green parts) s and p-to taste
1. Place chicken in bottom of prepared crock pot. Salt and pepper chicken. 2. Add remaining ingredients to crock pot and mix. 3. Cook on high for 1 hour; basting chicken with liquid 2-3 times. 4. Turn heat to low and cook for an additional 5-6 hours.
Recipe is great served with fried rice and stir fry veggies.
