I shop there a lot. But what makes me crazy is that they bring in some new item we like. Then once we get hooked they change suppliers and the new item to match tastes really gross and is the same price as what they had before. They are bringing in more national name brands and the prices are inching up constantly. They aren’t that different from a regular store anymore. Aldis is doing a much better job. But now that they are advertising on a national/television level, I fear their prices will start rising too.

Date: Sunday, July 27, 2008, 7:38 PMWhile passing through a near by town today I noticed a Save-a-lot
store. I’m not familiar with this company and after looking at their
website and seeing some of the prices I’m still not sure it would be
worth the drive (25m)…given the price of gas right now!LOLCan some of you that shop at a Save-a-lot tell me what you like/dislike
about your local store? Do you think you save money? Would you/do you
buy groceries there every week, or just every once in a while? Many thanks in advance for the opinions…
