These are so cute & a healthier treat for decorated christmas treats if you’re trying to avoid too many cookies, candies and fudge! Heres what you’ll need to make them,

      1 c. plus 1 Tbs powdered sugar
      1 egg white
a few drops of lemon juice
Fresh Apples (washed, dried and polished with a dry cotton cloth!)

Place the egg white in a bowl and beat it with hand beaters, add a couple drops of lemon juice, beat again, add the powdered sugar a bit at a time, beating in between. You want to create a thick meringue like frosting. (It takes about 10 minutes in all)

Spoon the frosting into a baggie and snip off the corner. Draw whateever designs you desire on your apples, starting at the top, the work your way towards the bottom of the apple.

once they are decorated, let them dry at least an hour.

these store best in a cold area, such as a windowsill and they do not do well in humid rooms.
