1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup cooked rice
1/4 cup each chopped onion & bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, peeled & minced
8 large cabbage leaves, blanched
2 cans (14.5 oz) or 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes with juice
Combine beef, rice, onion, pepper & garlic. Divide among cabbage leaves. Roll & place in buttered 9×13 baking dish, seam side down. Pour tomatoes over cabbage rolls. Cover with foil; bake at 350 for 1 hour.
Makes 4 to 6 servings
