My experience with student loans: go with grants and scholarships

as much as you can, then use loans for whatever else. I went to the

school guidance councilor and received lots of information of free

financial aid, and did receive several things from the

government. My sister and her daughter filled out a lot of

scholarship forms, especially the ones done by businesses. My niece

didn’t have to pay anything for her college, or room and board there.

The student loans are a low interest loan, or they were when I got

mine. If you don’t expect the loan to pay for everything, you won’t

owe enough to be a second mortgage when you get your degree.
