I have known peolpe to be accepted last minute into the nursing program. There is a huge waiting list and if somebody gets accepted and then doesnt follow through they will fill it with their wait list if all pre-reqs are met….but they would already be taking their pre-reqs and already know about financial aid.

Please don’t be offended at my asking this, but is this a “real” nursing
school or one of those private trade schools that are SO expensive & you end
up with no college credits. It seems odd to me that she just found out she
was accepted 3 weeks before classes start. I’ve had friends/co-workers
with kids who went to a “nursing school” only to realize that it was
actually a medical assistants school.
When they graduated they were in
debt, had no college credit, and made just slightly more than minimum wage.
