Strong Bonds Seminar Reimbursement for National Guard and Reserve soldiers and family members.
My DH and I used the Strong Bonds Seminar as our honeymoon. I’m sure it belongs in the Guinness World Records as the cheapest honeymoon ever. He was able to use the seminar as one of his weekend drills (he got paid for it) and they reimbursed me for hotel, and food.
(just don’t over do it) Soldier’s just make sure the hotel res. are in your wife’s/husband’s(non-service member) name. During the Seminar they will help you fill out the reimbursement form.Don’t forget to ask for the military rate when making res. and keep the hotel receipt and make sure you have a blank check with you. Your released at around 3PM or 5PM, so the evening is yours to do as you please.
We have been to two of them the last one was the best.(Laugh Your Way to a better marriage by Mark Gungor) Have fun and enjoy each other!
Soldiers will need to contact their commanding officer about times and places of the events and let him know which one you will be attending. He should also be able to tell you the web site you’ll need to register on for the event. (Not posting site due to security purposes.) - January 3, 2012 at 2:53 pm #431057
