Stretching your dollars or just being creative

I love coming up with ways of stretching my dollars and many people have creative ideals on how to do so.

This one o them I love wine and sometimes make my own.
Homemade Wine
1 gallon glass jug
5 c. sugar
1 pint of fruit juice
¼ tsp. yeast
… Put sugar and juice in jug and add yeast. Fill the rest of the jug with water. Put balloon on jug. Poke hole in balloon.
In 3 weeks drain and strain wine.
Pour wine back in jug and cork it, let it stand for 3 more weeks. The longer it sets the better it is.
You can use plastic gallon jugs but I prefer glass.
I used this recipe years ago to make wine.
