Strawberry Dumplings
8-oz can crescent rolls
1/2 stick butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup lemon soda
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread out individual crescent rolls flat. Fill them with strawberries, roll up, and place in a baking dish.
Melt the butter and add the brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and lemon juice. Mix together and pour over the rolls. Pour lemon soda around edges and between rolls.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve warm. Serves 8
