Do you have a vacuum sealer? Or just a regular one? Mine is a vacuum
sealer and it won’t seal anything placed in there over about 1/4 inch.
Any suggestions?

storing small amouts of mixes /spices
i have a seal a meal (its another brand forget what is is).. i use the
reg zip bags and make smaller containers .. it takes a little longer to
cut through the zipper. i take small zip bags and seal it down the
middle for 2 long skinny ones ..
Take qt zip bag and a canning funnel .. put in mix/spices using the
canning funnel (to keep the sides clean) .. seal & cut right above the
mix, add in more and seal and cut etc etc
