storing potatoes

Hi,
Put a nice large apple in the bag [ I use a paper bag ] with the potatoes, I
just lay the apple on top of the potatoes, and it keeps them from
sprouting…being sure to store them in a cool dark place. I have done this
for a long time and it works very well..
