I did 3×5 and 2×10 easier on the back not as far to reach over .. I did find I could plant more intensive than even 1 per foot with tomatoes and peppers .. my 2×10 gets 31 plants and the 3×5 gets 4 rows 5/6/5/6 ..
my soil is really great though and I rotate the crops each year ..
