Spring! What works for you?

The other day I went to Walmart to buy diapers for my

daughter, and spent a few extra minutes just “window

shopping” in the girls’ clothing section. By this

point in the winter, my eyes just need to see some

bright or pastel colors, instead of drab winter

colors.

She came home from Daddy’s house with three purple

tulips, and it’s amazing how just a few flowers really

brighten up the room. I get alot of pleasure from

looking at them.

I’ve also been making summer plans – camping, a trip

to visit my aunt at the ocean, my daughter’s birthday

party. Somehow, talking about it makes it feel a

little closer.

And one more thing…

I’ve made smoothies, which is something I usually do

in the summer. It’s not quite the same as sipping one

on a hot day, but it helps remind me of summer.
