Chocolate Banana Smoothie

6 ounces water
10 ounces bananas
2/3 c instant dry milk
1 tablespoon cocoa
1/2 tsp vanilla optional
Blend water and dry milk in blender.
Add bananas to make 2 cups.
Blend in cocoa.
Chill.
If you let the bananas get ripe (“golden yellow flecked with brown”) before
using them this way, there is no need for additional sweetener. You can
even use bananas with black skins this way.
Adding a bit of vanilla and chilling overnight improves the taste for those
who don’t like dry milk.
