3/4 cup corn meal
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup boiling water
1 cup milk
1 tsp salt
2 Tbs Crisco
2 Tbs baking powderPlace meal in bowl with Crisco & salt. Add boiling water & stir to a smooth paste. Add eggs & milk. Add baking powder, stirring only to mix (will foam up). Pour at once into greased casserole dish. Bake in moderate oven 375 for 30-40 minutes. Serve hot with spoon.
