I live in a small town- and I moved here from a University town with lots going on every day.
I personally love the small town feel and good points- we are walking distance from allfour schools,2 grocery stores, a cleaners, a video rental place, a pizza hut and a drug store.
We can walk to the library, local park and tennis courts. On holidays we have the most amazing things-Christmas parades,Fourth of July we have terrific fireworks, Halloween we have a”parade” for the kids in costumes and the town businesses give out candy.Our 3brm 2ba home on 1 ac cost justa tad over100K- in Atlanta it would have been over 300K. It’s a very different lifestyle, but I wouldn’t take anything for it. …it’s nice to have sort of an “extended family” feel with all of your neighbors.
