      HI!

      Flash freeze just means to freeze quickly in individual pieces so you
      don’t have stuff in a clump. Usually you do it on a cookie sheet.
      For example, if you have 10 chicken breasts in a package and you
      freeze the whole thing, you’ll have to thaw all 10 breasts at once.
      But if you take them out of the original package and put them spaced
      apart on a cookie sheet and partially freeze, you can put them back
      in a freezer bag and only pull out 1 or 2 at a time as you need them.

      Also, if you have soup,stew,or broth, you can freeze quickly into
      a “brick”, and remove it from the pan and wrap in a bag.
