If you have a pair of jeans that you really don’t care for (maybe they’re just plain ugly) here’s an easy way to give them new life, with a touch of lace.
You’ll need a some lace (the stretchy kind works best).
Turn the jeans inside out, cut out an area of the jeans that you want to replace with lace, be careful you don’t cut through both front and back of the pant leg, lol.Adhere the lace to the pants, overlapping at least 1 full inch inside. You can either sew it or use fabric glue
let it dry completely (if using glue) and turn it right side out.use a razor blade or edge of a knife to carefully distress the edges of the cut in the pants (to create the fringe look).

Hi, I love the idea for giving some new touches for an old jeans. It could really save you an amount of money instead of buying a new pair. - January 23, 2017 at 3:52 pm #463482

I remember when you patched jeans up the patch had to match the jeans. Now you can patch jeans anyway you like and I LOVE it.
