1 lb. ground beef 1/2 med. size onion, diced or sliced 1/2 green pepper, diced 1/2 to 1 cup ketchup
Brown ground beef, with onions and green pepper, in skillet until beef is no longer pink. Drain fat, add ketchup to desired amount. Serve on hamburger buns, or bread slices. My mother always made homemade sloppy joes this way, as the canned sauce has a flavor we didn’t desire.
