shake n bake mix
1 1/2 c dry beadcrumbs
1 c flour
1 1/2 tsp garlic
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
6 tbsp cornmeal
6 tbsp grated parmasean cheese (unrefridgerated)combine all except cornmeal, shortening, and cheese.
whirl to a powder in blender/food processor.
pour into mixing bowl, add cornmeal, then cut in shortening.
stir in cheese.
put in airtight container.i just put some in a bag and shake with chicken or porkchops.
i don’t measure. just eyeball it.
then bake at 400* for 30-55 minutes. (until done)

I’ve been looking for a shake n bake recipe that I thought would be more for pork. This one sounds like it should be close, so I’m going to try it. Thanks.

I made this to go with my Pork Chops tonight. I did add a bit of italian seasoning, just because I like it with pork.
