Sesame Rice
Stir 2 Tbsp toasted sesame seed, 1/2 tsp dark Oriental Sesame oil and sliced scallion into 2 cups cooked rice. Reserve left over rice for use later in the week.
Fried Rice
Place reserved rice in pan with 1 Tbsp oil and heat over medium heat, stirring frequently to ‘loosen’ rice. When rice is heated thoroughly, stir in 2 cups each sliced carrots and snow peas stir-frying until vegetables are crisp-tender. Reduce to low, add 1 Tbsp Soy or Teriyaki sauce and stir until all is coated. Serve immediately.
