Scampi Sauce for Shrimp
6 tbs butter, salted
5 cloves garlic, pressed
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 tabs lemon juice
Dash Tabasco sauce
Salt, to taste
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. When the butter stops foaming add the garlic and continue cooking for 2 min.
Stir in the parsley, lemon juice, dash of Tabasco sauce, and salt to taste. Heat through.
Toss with hot cooked shrimp and serve immediately with hot cooked rice or angel hair pasta and a salad. Makes enough for 2 lb shrimp or 4 servings
