      1 cup butter, softened
      1/2 cup powdered sugar, plus additional for topping
      2 cups flour
      1 cup chopped pecans
      1 tsp vanilla extract

      Cream together softened butter & sugar. Stir in flour, pecans & vanilla. Shape into balls or crescents, and bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 20 minutes at 325 degrees, or until cookies are light brown. Roll cookies in powdered sugar while they are still warm.

      This would be a good cookie for MorningG, to make for the Holidays. rtebalt you really take the time to post some good recipes. You will be adding to my cookie recipes this year it looks like. :dance:
