4 roma tomatoes2 large oranges, peeled and diced
1 large Vidalia onion, peeled and chopped
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
3 (1 gram) packets SPLENDA1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
Directions Bring small saucepan of water to a boil. Blanch tomatoesfor 30 seconds, and then rinse with cold water. Peel and chop
Place all ingredients in a large bowl and stir until mixedthoroughly. Allow to stand at room temperature for one hour. Mix and
serve. Refrigerate any unused salsa.
Serve Citrus Salsa with baked tortilla chips or on top of grilledchicken or fish.
Deliciously Simple Applesauce
Prep Time: 15 MinutesCook Time: 30 Minutes
Ingredients3 pounds apples – peeled, cored and chopped
3 cups water
1/4 cup SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions Place apples in a large saucepan and just barely coverwith water. Simmer over medium-low heat until apples are tender, 15
to 20 minutes.
Run cooked apples through a food mill or blender. Stir in the SPLENDAGranulated Sweetener, lemon juice, cinnamon. Cook over medium heat
for about 3 to 5 minutes.

Raspberry Hot Chocolate

Ingredients2 packets SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener Flavor Accents, Raspberry
1 packet sugar free hot cocoa mix
1 cup 1% milkDirections Mix Splenda No Calorie Sweetener Flavor Accents, Raspberry
and dry cocoa mix together in a mug or coffee cup. Heat milk on stove
top or microwave.Pour hot milk into mug. Stir well. Serve immediately.
Serving Size: 1 recipe (about 8 oz)
Exchanges per Serving: 1 Reduced Fat Milk.
Chocolate Velvet Mousse
Prep Time: 25 Minutes
3 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1 cup low fat milk1/4 cup egg substitute
1/2 cup SPLENDA No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
1 teaspoon cornstarch2 tablespoons Grand Marnier (or Curacao, Triple Sec, or brandy)*
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 cups sliced strawberriesDirections Place chocolate and milk in a medium saucepan. Heat over
medium heat until chocolate melts. Set aside.
Stir together egg substitute, SPLENDA Granulated Sweetener,cornstarch and Grand Marnier in a small mixing bowl. Add to chocolate
mixture. Stir constantly. Cook over medium heat while stirring
constantly, until mixture begins to thicken (approx. 3-4 minutes).Remove from heat and pour into the bowl of a blender or food
processor. Blend or process briefly (10-20 seconds) to make a more
creamy texture. Pour into medium bowl and cover.Refrigerate chocolate mixture approx. 2-3 hours or until cool. Whip
cream until stiff and fold into chocolate. Refrigerate overnight to
set. Will keep refrigerated for 3 days.To serve, layer strawberries and mousse in 6 all- purpose wine
NoteAlcohol can be replaced with 1 teaspoon orange extract.
