Rice
Prepare rice as desired, but prepare an extra cup and reserve for the next recipe.
Rice Pilaf
Using the reserved rice, mix in the following:
1 each — sauteed onion and sliced celery stalk
1/2 tsp vegetable bouillon granules, dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water
1 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne, if desired
Heat in pot (or microwave) thoroughly. Serve with choice of sides;-)
