Deer, Elk or Antelope Steak (or any store bought steak) 1 Lbs.
Yellow Onion 1/2 Cup
Butter 2 Tbl Spoons
Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 Can
Salt and Pepper To Taste
Egg Noodles or Linguini 4 Servings
White Wine 1/2 Cup
Water 1/4 Cup
Cut the Steaks into small strips and remove all non-meat stuff. Start boiling the noodles. Don’t let them over cook.
Strain and run cold water over them. In a medium skillet heat up butter on medium high. When the butter melts add the steak strips and the onion finely chopped.
Salt and Pepper to taste. Brown the meat. (Trick to tender meat – Brown it very hot and very fast.) Turn stove down to medium low setting.
Dump in Cream o Mushroom, water, and wine. Mix it all up good and then cover. Simmer for 20 minutes and stir often.
If needed add a little more salt and pepper. Serve over the noodles
