      Materials Needed:

      Old cd
      felt
      photo
      glue
      ribbon

      instructions:
trace around the cd onto a piece of felt. cut out the felt circle.
cut a 10-inch piece of ribbon. Tie the ribbon into a loop.

      Put a dab
of glue onto the back of the cd towards the outside edge. press the
ribbon loop into the glue to make the hanger.

spread glue over the entire back of the cd. center the felt circle
on glue and gently press. this will cover writing and ribbon ends,
and it will be the back of your ornament.

cut around the figure in the picture you are using. you can cut it
into a rectangle shape, circle, or whatever you want. for a fancy
      edge, use pinking sheers!

trace the picture onto a piece of felt. cut out the shape, making it
about 1/2-inch wider than the picture. Glue the photo onto the piece
of felt so you can see the felt on all sides.

      Glue this onto the
center of the CD, making sure you cover the hole completely.

      Materials Needed:

      Light Bulb
      Thin Ribbon
      Brown Fun Foam or Felt
      Paint
      3/4-Inch Red Pom-pom
      Glue

      Instructions:
I put 3 layers of paper mache on my light bulb first. Although this
is optional, I highly recommend it because this helps make the light
bulb less fragile. (You can find out how to paper mache here.)
Paint the light bulb with light brown paint. Let the paint dry
      completely.

I set the neck of the lightbulb into an empty film
container. This worked great while the paint dried!

With the neck of the light bulb pointing up, paint eyes and a mouth
on the reindeer. Glue on the red, pom-pom nose.

Cut two antlers out of fun foam using the pattern below. Glue one to
each side of the light bulb neck.

Form a loop with a piece of thin ribbon, about 10 – 12 inches long
and glue it on the top, back edge of your reindeer head. This will
be the hanger for your ornament.
      .
      Materials Needed:

      Light Bulb
      Thin Ribbon
      Red Child’s Sock
      Paint
      White, Curly Chenille Stem
      1-Inch, White Pom-pom
      White Chenille Stem
      Small, Pink Pom-pom
      Glue

      Instructions:
I put 3 layers of paper mache on my light bulb first. Although this
is optional, I highly recommend it because this helps make the light
bulb less fragile. (You can find out how to paper mache here.)
Paint the light bulb with flesh-colored paint. You don’t need to
paint the neck (the part that goes into the light socket).

      Let the
paint dry completely. I set the neck of the lightbulb into an empty
film container. This worked great while the paint dried!

Tie a piece of thin ribbon, about 10 – 12 inches long, securely
around the neck of the light bulb. Add a few drops of glue to secure
the ribbon. This will be the hanger for your ornament.

Now you will make santa’s hat. Cut off the top of the red sock, you
will want about 6 inches to work with. Slide it over the neck of the
light bulb; and make sure the ribbon comes out through the top.

      Pull
the edge of the sock down the lightbulbed to the desired spot.

Tie a piece of ribbon around the top edge of the sock just above the
end of the light bulb. Tie it into a knot and trim off any long
ends. Glue the pom-pom on the top edge of the hat to hide the ribbon
      you tied it with.

Secure the bottom edge of the sock onto the light
bulb with a few drops of glue.

Make Santa’s beard using the curly, white chenille stem. Glue it in
place; start from one edge of the hat, go around the bulb, and end
at the other edge of the hat. Cover the tips of the beard by gluing
on the white chenille stem around the bottom edge of the hat.

To complete your Santa ornament, paint on some eyes, and glue on the
pink pom-pom to be his nose.
      .
      Materials Needed:

      Light Bulb
      Thin Ribbon
      Child’s Sock
      Snowpaint
      Buttons
      Orange Bump Chenille Stem
      Scrap Black Felt or Paper
      Glue

      Instructions:
I put 3 layers of paper mache on my light bulb first. Although this
is optional, I highly recommend it because this helps make the light
bulb less fragile. (You can find out how to paper mache here.)
Paint the light bulb with the snowpaint. You don’t need to paint the
neck (the part that goes into the light socket).

      Let the paint dry
completely. I set the neck of the lightbulb into an empty film
container. This worked great while the paint dried!

Tie a piece of thin ribbon, about 10 – 12 inches long, securely
around the neck of the light bulb. Add a few drops of glue to secure
the ribbon. This will be the hanger for your ornament.

Now you will make a stocking cap for your light bulb snowman. Cut
off the top of the sock, you will want about 6 inches to work with.
Slide it over the neck of the light bulb; and make sure the ribbon
comes out through the top. Roll the edge of the sock that is over
the light bulb until you have only about 1 inch hanging over the top.

Tie a piece of ribbon around the top edge of the sock just above the
end of the light bulb. Tie it into a bow and trim off any long ends.
Secure the rolled edge of the sock onto the light bulb with a few
      drops of glue.

Now you can make the snowman’s face! Glue on small buttons for the
eyes (you can also use large wiggle eyes). Cut half of a bump off
the orange chenille stem and glue it on to be the snowman’s nose.
For the mouth, cut out small circles (to look like coal) out of
black felt or paper and glue them on.

over, and trace it onto the back of the another sheet of sand paper.
      Cut out the gingerbread men.
Glue the 2 gingerbread men together so the rough side is out.

      Scrape
the cinnamon stick over the sand paper to make it smell sweet!

      Greeting Card Ornaments
Recycle the greeting cards you have received! Make fun Christmas
      tree ornaments.
      Materials:

      Greeting Cards
      Felt or Craft Foam
      Ribbon
      Glue
      Instructions:
Cut 2 circles from the pictures of 2 greeting cards. The circles
should be the same size. Trace around the bottom of a glass or other
small, round object to help you cut your circles.

      The circles can be
any size, but I prefer 2 inches.

Cut a circle out of the felt or craft foam about 1/2 to 1 inch wider
than the greeting card circles. Cut a piece of ribbon about 6 inches
long. Fold the ribbon over and glue the ends to the top side of the
felt or craft foam circle to make the hanger for your ornament.

Glue the greeting card circles to each side of your felt or craft
      foam circle.

      Christmas Angel Ornaments
make loop and twist ends together, this should look like a halo.
stick twisted ends into the hole at the top of the ball, this should
look like the halo over a head.
Step three: Take a length of ribbon and make a loop big enough to
fit over the tree branch or the place where it will hang. Glue it to
the bowtie, then glue the wings on the ziti in the small arch. Glue
two elbows to sides but letting them touch in the front of angel.

wings) and attach the head. Let dry and taaaadahhhh, you have a

      Santa’s Red Underwear
What does Santa wear under his red coat and pants? Why, red
      underwear, of course!

Make these adorable ornaments from felt and
glue and stuff with goodies for Christmas morning!

      You will need:
      red felt
      patterns
white buttons or small pom poms
craft glue or hot glue (hot glue is recommended)
      small white bow
      white chenille stick or ribbon

      Instructions
Cut the patterns out and trace the underwear and back flap onto the
red felt. Cut two of the underwear and one flap for each ornament
      you are making.

Cut a 2″ slit in the back of ONE of the underwear. This is where you
will be filling the underwear with candy or money.

Apply glue on the “outline” of one side of the underwear felt and
then place the other side on top and press firmly. Let dry.

Apply the “back flap” to the back of the underwear. Apply glue to
the top straight part of the flap and place it 1/2″ above the slit
that you already cut out. Let dry.

Glue three buttons down the front of Santa’s Underwear and 2 buttons
on the left and right side of the back flap. (See photo)
Use pinking shears to cut out a small piece of material and glue the
letter from the elves onto it. Glue diagonally on the front left or
      right side of the underwear.

Create a small coat hanger by bending a white chenille stick into
shape. Insert in Santa’s Undies and secure with glue. Another option
is to simply glue a loop of ribbon or gold cord to the inside back
of the undies for the hanger.

Fill back flap with candy or money.

Variation – Finish edges with a blanket stitch or by hand stitching
      for an added touch.

      Santa’s Underwear Tag

      Dear Santa,

      We looked for a stocking,
      but couldn’t find a spare,
      so we ended up stuffing
      your red underwear.
