Pawn shop. Just picked up a nice one for my son's birthday. We had $110 budgeted and found one for $99.

They held it while we considered and then when we went back to get it, they could not find the battery. They had another one much nicer ($160) that they were going to let us take for $120 but I told them I only had $110 total, so they let us pay that (including tax).

I don't know about the particular brands and etc, but I'm liking this pawn shop thing!!! Got my other son a NICE bike for his birthday for under $100 as well. It needed a peddle (cost $10 at Fred Meyer).

I am looking for a good Camcorder and of course at a good price.

However, I am willing to spend more if the picture quality justifies

      it.

      Anyone have experience or recommendations?

I have been doing lots of research and its hurting my head. i currently

am debating between the panasonic hdc-hs9 and the Sony HDR-SR11.

Personally I don't care about hd quality, for goodness sakes its home

movies not star wars. i am more concern about great ois and picture

quality (3ccd/cmos as appose to hd, but if it has hd all the more

      fun!).

any suggestion. just want great picture (hd or standard)ideally $1500

or less. And I emphasize the less!

      Thanks
