Earthquake Cake
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 box German chocolate cake mix
8 ozs. cream cheese, softened
1 stick of margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 to 1 lb. powdered sugar
Grease and flour a 9 x13 in. pan. Sprinkle coconut and pecans in pan. Mix cake mix as directed on box and pour batter over coconut and pecans in pan. Mix cream cheese, margarine, vanilla and powdered sugar well. Drop this mixture by spoonfuls over cake batter and swirl into cake mixture. Bake at 350 deg. for 50 minutes.
No icing required.
