I got one!!! Actually, I got this from allrecipes.com (and I will give credit to the creator as soon as i can find out who she is!). I modified it a little, and you can make it for less than $5.
3 lb. ‘sale’ roast (whatever’s on sale this week for cheap) 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (or MYO) 1 can condensed beef broth (or MYO)
Combine soups in crockpot. Put roast in and cook on low for 8 hours. I am finishing our leftovers as I type and it is delicious!!!
I do it with a roast (chuck) and the mushroom soup, but I use water instead of the beef broth, and toss in a couple beef bouillion cubes. And, I put quarted or sliced potatoes and onions under the roast. It makes the best darned gravy in the world!
