Ready-to-go smoothies

Some people use up leftover veggies by keeping a container in the

freezer, and making soup from them. I don’t make soup, but I’ve applied

this concept to have ready-to-go smoothies. There always seems to be a

couple bananas, or a few strawberries that don’t get eaten before they

start to go bad. I just pop them in a Ziploc bag in the freezer, and

have a fruit mix ready to go whenever I want a smoothie. I usually add

plain yogurt, maybe some milk and flax seed. My 2 1/2-year-old loves

smoothies, and it’s very healthy. The only frustrating part is that I

can only find plain yogurt in large containers, which we don’t use up.

Freezing it wouldn’t be helpful, because all the fruit is frozen and I

need something with a thinner consistency to add to the mix. Any other

      ideas?
