tips-n-tricks: sometimes the simplest tricks are right in front of us… do you like to make your own burgers ahead of time and freeze them until needed?
here’s a simple trick for making the exact same size patty every time. unscrew the lid from a peanut butter jar or if you want a thicker burger, a marshmallow creme jar, then line it with a piece of plastic wrap (common sense says to wash the lid first), the press the ground meat down into the lid, forming a perfect patty.flip over onto wax paper and repeat until you have as many premade burgers as you need!
season the burger just prior to cooking. if you’re freezing them, place a piece of wax paper in between in burger to keep them from sticking together.another tip, press your thumb into the center of the burger to make a slight indent, this helps the burger cook evenly and prevents it from being raw in the middle.
