Hello, I have been a lurker for awhile and now have a question that
hopefully someone out there can help me with.
Two years ago, my husband and I went on a kind of honeymoon trip.
While on this mini vacation, with stary eyes we were suckered into
purchasing a vacation club membership, a.k.a. a timeshare. While the
benefits of club membership are quite attractive, my husband is in the
military and we are not going to have any opportunities to use this
membership for about the next 10 years or so. Meanwhile, we are paying
maintenance fees, etc. So, we would really like to sell it. Looking
back I know it was not a wise decision to make the purchase in the
first place, and I don’t want to make an equally hasty decision in
paying a company to advertise it for sale. Every company I have talked
to charges about $600 upfront to advertise. Has anyone dealt with a
company that they would recomend? Or have any other advice on this
topic?
Thanks In Advance, Joanna
