I’ve also heard of this idea using coffee cans (or that size). you
just re-fill with water as needed. however, I heard that you leave
the lid off until the area around the container is saturated using
atmospheric pressure to aid delivery of the water.
putting the cap on
will slow delivery so as not to over-water. and I think that you
might be surprised at how low temps can get in Wilimington. also,
glad to see that you survived Ophelia.
