I dont know if Im missing something or if this may turn into a suggestion. Is there a way to be able to flag coupons and freebies you need to come back too later? I want to print out a lot of these coupons but have to wait to get ink, was just wondering if there was any way to do this.

      Thanks

that is a great question. i would love to do the same thing seeing as how my printer isn’t compatible with this computer, but I don’t have the net hooked up to the desktop right now, so I am having to try and re find somethign when I get to my father in laws house and use his printer.

I usually run through things on here and make a note on a piece of paper. Then later when I have more time I will search back in the forums area for what I would like to print.

That’s a great idea! My problem is that I’m so scatter-brained that I will lose the piece of paper that I wrote the notes down on! : )

I keep it right beside the computer and everyone knows if they touch they will have to listen to me go crazy trying to find it. They don’t touch the paper any more 🙂

Yes that is a good idea, don’t feel like the lone ranger here. I to have been keeping a notebook with dates to go back to.

When I do print something off I do have a huge notebook that I hole punch and add the papers, I am adding dividers into different categories so I can just look there for the items (recipes, etc.) if someone else is on the computer and I want to fix something.

I will right click on the page and save it to favorites. Then later print the page and also delete it on favorites. Hope this helps!!

I use Micosoft Word. Yes I have 2 printers that I need to get ink for and hope they work with my new pc. my hard drive crashed last year, i replaced it, then they wanted me to buy new software.

a freind of mine had copies of windows me and se so installed me, which nothing supports anymore or if it ols software it does not recongnize windows me. *** makes me mad.

so i have various word documents for things i want to print or look into deeper, or free software downloads, fonts, ……. then i copy the site to the document. then once a week i send a copy of my documents to my yahoo e-mail (for safe keeping and access anywhere).

if i want to print i go to the library or brothers house, print what i want and all i have to do is acess yahoo from where i am at and off i go.

i always start lists but lose them, what to change them, seems to be alot of wasted paper and time. this works for me anyway.

i also started using excel so i could catalog by columns and sort, but copying links into this does not work as well.

Oh one more thing. Have you thought about starting your own Proboard (to keep notes on and things you want to access). They are FREE, not sure who hard it is to create, but they can’t be that hard.

You need software for your printer?? Am I understanding that correctly? If so, post your printer make/model number and I’ll find the software. I have Tons and Tons of software I can zip and send you so you dont have to buy any, just ink- which is bad enough

Just a note, we are working on this. It requires an extensive coding change and I want to make sure it won’t mess up our database! 🙂

      Keep your fingers crossed.

      Liz,

I am looking to get off of Windows 98 me and get something better, but my freind cannot get the system discs until his company upgrades. i am looking for anything that runs with more up to date software/freeware. i am a huge excel fan, so i do not know if i want to switch away from windows based programs.

**** i have spent last night looking for freeware that i could download, to organizes my receipes, but customize the pages/tabs with artwork, but some kind of templet to standardize the pages. but i want to be able to save it, email it, or print it out for family. ***i got a disc from a printing publisher (a freebie) but they need to print it and it is a 100++ min.

run. Thats not what I want to do. Does that make any sence to you?

Have you ever used AZZ cardfile? I use it all the time, its a free program and you can download it, and on the left hand side it lists all your items alphabetically and the content of each card shows on the right hand side.

You can use it for recipes, passwords, journaling, etc. I’ve been using it for years and I absolutely love it.
