Thought I would share this for the holidays!
3 cups canned pumpkin (or 2 lb. cooked fresh pumpkin)
3 cups chicken broth
¾ cup light cream
1 Tbs. butter
1 Tbs. flour
1 Tbs. sugar
2 Tbs. brown sugar
¼ tsp. ginger
¼ tsp. cinnamon
Salt & pepper to taste
Mix ingredient in large sauce pan. Heat, but do NOT boil. Serve at once.
Optional addition: ½ cup of finely julienned ham.
