Just a note of caution here. Don’t forget that you want to make sure
your cooker is in good shape to avoid accidents. It is important to
check it over occasionally. Especially if it is an older model.
(Newer models have many more built in safety features.) Check to make
sure the seal is in good condition and that there is no dried food or
anything on the lid to interfere. Here in Ohio, you used to be able
to take them to the local extension agency to have them tested for
safety. I don’t know if you can still do that or not, but it might be
worth checking.
Now, I’m off to see if I can find some recipes. I think it’s time to
dig mine out again!
