Potato soup

      8 russett potatos
      8 slices thick sliced bacon cooked and cut into bite size pieces.
      1 can cream of chicken soup
      1 onion chopped
      1 cup milk
      1 cup sour cream
      1 cup potato water (saved from cooking the potatos)

      cheddar cheese
      sliced scallion onions
      Peel, chop, and cook potatos until they are done. Drain and reserve the water. Add all the ingredients to the pot except the potato water. Add the water last to obtain the proper consistency, Simmer on low until onions are cooked. (This can also be done in a crock pot) Salt and pepper to taste. Garnish bowls of soup with grated cheddar cheese and scallion onion
