Pork with Apples and Squash 1 small butternut or winter squash 3 large cooking apples 4 pork chops (3/4 in thick) about 1 1/4 lbs 1/2 c brown sugar 2 tablespoons flour 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp salt Peel squash and cut into 1/2 ” slices. Core apples, cut in fourths and then cut pieces in half. Remove excess fat from pork chops.
Mix brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Coat pork chops in sugar mixture. Layer squash, apples and pork chops.
Pour any extra sugar mix over top. Cook 8-9 hours on low
