We bought a metal sided pool 5 years ago from wal-mart and TRIED to put it up.
After
wasting a full weekend trying to get the liner in correctly (yes we watched the
video more
than once). We returned that pool and got the soft side pool(it does have metal
base). We
have put it up every year and taken it down in the fall. It is still in good
shape. The only
problem that I have is the kids have gotten bigger and want a larger pool but it
is great in
the summer even for us parents and the midnight swims. My advice is the soft
sided pool.
I have seen people leave them up all year long.
