Re: poison oak outbreak
My sister used to get poison so terribly and now our son does!
2 of our 3 children have been on prednizone (steroid) for poison oak /
ivy. And our son has several times, at least. It is normally given to
them when it is very close to the eye, or a very severe case when it
seems to be breaking out everywhere. Seems almost like it might come
through the bloodstream, tho I’m not sure that term is medically
correct.Benadryl, or something similar, will help to relieve the itching. But
beware of them wanting to sleep. =)
