Planning ahead

Many years ago when my kids were younger I used to bake heart-shaped

sugar cookies for V-Day, or a heart-shaped cake for dessert. A couple

of times when they were teens, I made each one a big Toll House pan

cookie in a foil heart-shaped cake pan. Another year I made each one a

foil heart-shaped pan of Rice-Krispie treats. I also made “finger

jello” and cut it out with a heart shaped cookie cutter.
