We love to tailgate with friends at various occasions, particularly college ball games, but unfortunately in the fall there is a tendency for damp/wet grass. When you’re bringing kids along, you want them to be able to sit on a blanket without it sopping through or without tons of dead grass/leaves/weeds sticking to the blanket afterwards.
Here’s how I fixed it, you just sew a heavy duty clear shower curtain to one side of the blanket, then use the shower curtain side DOWN on the ground. It stays clean, dry.
If you don’t want to sew or don’t know how to sew you can use safety pins every 12 inches or so on the edges.
This will also prevent soggy bottoms and mud stains.
happy tailgating folks!
