      1 cup butter
      2 cups sugar
      2 eggs
      3 cups self-rising flour
      1 quart pecans
      1 Tbs vanilla

      Cream together butter & sugar. Add eggs, vanilla & flour, mix well. Add nuts.

      Drop by teaspoonfulls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 275 to 300 degrees until lightly browned.

      We had tons of Hickory nuts this year and love the tasto of them. going to try this recipe out with the Hickory nuts instead of Pecans! Can’t wait to try them!
